Biafra was actually around almost 3 years (May 30th 1967 – January 15th 1970). That Biafran Pound though is still very rare.

Nice collection,,,, I collect foreign currency as well. I love the German big notes and their artwork,,, but are so common,, not worth shit. I love the old Italian Lire.

I don’t think any of them are legal tender anymore, and “uncirculated” means they were never put out into circulation, or crisp.

i do this, i have UK, US, Chinese, Hong Kong, Euro, Canada, Guyana. it’s interesting. i keep mine in a book that has clear pages so you can see the back of the bills and the front of the bills. but you have a really nice collection.

Just wanted to tell marfg12345 that he does not even know the history of his own country……the note shown at 3:50 IS from Croatia…….these were used in 1993-94 before they changed to the Kuna………..

the banknote shown at 0:43 is 1 krone/koronafrom austria-hungary 1916, overstamped in 1919 with deutschösterreich(a succesor state of the austro-hungarian empire)
