Now Hugo Chavez Wants To Add Windfall Taxes On Foreign Oil Company Profits?

13 Sep

Does this man know anything about encouraging foreign investment in his broken economy, as opposed to further damaging it???? How far down the drain is he going to take Venezuela? What oil company will trust this hoodwinking buffoon after his ExxonMobil and Conoco Phillips scandels.

Venezuela is just another Cuba in it’s infancy. No capitalist industry will invest in Venezuela.

This socialist joker (and worse) is a menace and the worst thing that’s happened to South America in many years! He is clearly taking his country and their economy down the toilet – and it will take them decades to recover – ala Cuba!

You talk of broken economy…..ha….ha…ha haaaaaaaa……you dork don’t you realise that the USA owes so much money to the rest of the world that it can never hope to repay.
US can’t even meet it’s interest payment commitments and has to print new money and issue new worthless treasury debt in order to stop China, Japan and Europe from repossessing what little there is left of any worth in your bombed out economy.
Why do you think the $ US has tanked?
Soon the US Will be pleading with its creditors to take assets off its hands.
Soon there will be more investment going in South America than in USA.

Having a counterweight to both US imperialism and globalism in the western hemisphere is not necessarily a bad thing. Why should he be beholden to foreign interests? Shouldn’t his nation’s sovereignty be the issue?
