Most online stock brokers allow you to track a trend of a certain stock. However, I haven’t found any that would allow you to filter out stocks on certain parameters.

Are there any online stock brokers that have tools which allow searching for stocks based on certain criteria? For example, searching for all stocks which price and trading volume have been going up together the last 3 days.

Im living in California in the U.S and I want to order some the Australian version of some books because not all of them are availible in the US yet (Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan)

where I can find the online forex broker that regulated either by CFTC in the US or FSA in the UK or by both the regulators?.

Is ther any forex sites that only require a paypal site and you do not need to put in a minimum of 250$. (i would like to only invest 50-100 until i have experience)

I want to start trading forex, but i’ve noticed there are several trading brokers/platforms. Can you please tell me which ones are the best to use and why? And more importantly, your experience with your choice.

I deal with TD Waterhouse and they tell me that there is no other brokerage in Canada that will do cheap trades without a $100 000 minimum household balance or some ridiculous amount of trades per month. Is this true? I pay $29 per trade up to a maximum amount of shares. This gets really expensive especially with low priced stocks.

What about the “multex” program that Marc Gerstein suggests? Can I access that on-line for free?

I`m a beginning trader interested in getting a platform set up for daytrading/swing trading and have found Yahoo! Real-time stock quotes to be the cheapest at $15, but I`m wondering if this low price reflects a lack of quality in their services?
