Is a Pattern Day Trader trading the same stock four times a week?

06 May

I’m a little bit confused with the Pattern Day Trading restriction.

If I buy MSFT and sell it the same day, for four days in a row, I am a pattern day trader. I understand that part.

However, what if I buy MSFT one day and sell it, BBY the next day and sell it, ADBE the day after that and sell it, etc., Am I considered a pattern day trader?
Also, is it the same for options?

Currency exchange is strongest on what day of the week?

28 Apr

I have heard that most currencies generally follow a pattern of highs and lows with days of the week. Obviously there are many other factors which will often change this, but what day of the week is the USD typically at it’s lowest value? Also, how would I find out what day of the week, the Australian dollar is generally strongest?

Obviously I am trying to get an idea what day is typically best for exchanging AUD to USD. Thanks for any info.

“U.S. securities fell 1.7 percent in 2009, according to Merrill Lynch & Co.’s U.S. Treasury Master index, as the government issued debt to help revive the economy and service the budget deficit. It will sell an estimated $59 billion in notes April 7-9. The U.S. needs to borrow $3.25 trillion this fiscal year, including sales to replace maturing securities, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. estimated.

“The bond market has significant supply-demand issues,”

What do you think?
